The work emerged from an emotional memory of a summer spent on Lake Como, from the dense, almost overwhelming abundance of colour and light. Its rich, layered palette, ranging from muted pinks and beiges to intense greens, oranges and blues, conveys the lushness of Mediterranean vegetation and the warmth of an Italian afternoon. Flowing white strokes evoke the heat and the shimmer of light on the water, while the textured, expressive surface creates a sense of vitality and sensory memory. This is not a literal landscape, but an emotional record of a moment, nostalgic, warm and filled with an inner glow.
